ROAD TRIP / OREGON TO LOS ANGELES
The second leg of our holiday adventure was all about the the bay area and the California coast. We made the long haul back to San Francisco from Oregon on the 28th, stayed overnight in Marin County, and spent the following day exploring Point Reyes and eating oysters at the Hog Island Oyster Co. Then, it was off to Big Sur for bourbon, homemade donuts, and fireside dining along side the Big Sur River.

Found your blog via Joy the Baker. I’m so glad I came by and read your road trip. We went to Point Reyes this year and it was amazing! Love the NoCal coast.
I found your blog via my friend Kate (above!). I adore this post – for my 30th birthday I want to take a road trip from Oregon to Los Angeles and this post adds further fuel to that desire! Cheers from L.A.!
Thank you! You must take the trip. It was so magical. A perfect way to celebrate your 30th!
Love everything about this post! I have the same photo of that ancient cypress tree near Carmel. Also: Point Reyes Station is one of my very favorite places on Earth.
I want to move to Point Reyes Station. Today!
Me, too! Perfection.
Beautiful photos. Breathtaking and vast! I love No Cali. I’ve never been to Big Sur, tho. I guess I need to plan a trip, with my camera!
