A DINNER PARTY

IMG_5539

My friends, Jill and Glenn, have started a wonderful dinner party tradition called Good Friends. Good Food. Good Cause. Every other month, they host an intimate dinner party with eight to ten guests. Each dinner focusing on raising money for a different charity. The minimum donation is $20 but guests are free to donate as much as they like if it is a cause that is close to their heart.  Saturday was the second dinner party and the focus of the night was raising money for a charity called Chrysalis. Chrysalis is an non-profit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment. The dinner was a success and, as an added bonus, it also happened to be Glenn’s birthday so I cooked up a feast! Check out Jill’s blog, The Daily Tonic, for much more on this new tradition and her take on healthy living!
